Britan’s Got Talent will make its long-awaited return next week, and now the ITV show has revealed a first-look trailer for the pre-recorded semi-finals.

The clip, which you can watch above, features Simon Cowell before he broke his back in electric bike accident alongside fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

The semi-finalists will actually be revealed prior to this in a Britain’s Got Talent: The Finalists Revealed special, which will air this Sunday (August 30) at 6.30 pm.

With Cowell still recovering from his back surgery, former winner and Diversity star Ashley Banjo will temporarily fill his position on the judging panel.

Speaking about his new role on the show, Ashley said: “As if 2020 couldn’t get any crazier! It’s super humbling and super exciting! I remember being on that stage last year and talking about how it’s been ten years since we won, and how people should never tell you, you can’t do something.

“Walking on that stage as a 20-year-old street dancer from the streets of East London and now I am walking out there and stepping in for the big man! It feels really nice, almost poetic.”
